Insights & Planning Analyst
How long have you worked at Tallwave?
Five years and counting! Being at Tallwave for five years has allowed me to experience a brand merge, an acquisition, moving two offices, a gain of friends, role changes – the list goes on! I don’t feel I would have gotten such a breadth of professional and emotional challenges and experiences anywhere else out of college.
What is your favorite part of your current role?
The best part of my current role is that every week is entirely different. I’m working with different team members, projects, and industries each week. One of the reasons I chose to move into this role was for the ability to work with more of the Tallwave family and learn what they do, and now I am positioned to do so.
Go to karaoke song?
“I Don’t Wanna Know” by Mario Winans. Why? Well, when you’re in middle school, you need a song to cry over when you think you are invisible to your love interest.
What is one goal you’d like to achieve this year?
There are two, actually. One is helping establish the Insights & Planning department to get it to a point where it is naturally part of the Tallwave lexicon. Secondly, establishing closer relationships with more coworkers. Day-to-day work becomes more meaningful and productive when relationships are formed, allowing for more honesty, humility, personal growth, and a lot more fun.
What is one thing you are most proud of since you’ve been at Tallwave?
I am proud of Tallwave in general and the many people that I've met along the way.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Everything that is said or happens is a neutral event. When you believe that, you don’t get lost in a sea of utterances that you perceive are negative when they were harmless. In the service industry if you get bogged down by every jab from a client or coworker, you are going to be emotionally drained and begin to resent the people around you.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?
Fettuccine and Italian sausages with as much parmesan as possible.
What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?
Observant, patient, empathetic
Favorite pizza topping(s)?
Extra cheese, pepperoni, banana peppers.
No kids, no pets (yet). I can’t wait to have a family and a half labrador half Great Dane!
