We hit the ground running in 2019—Gaining traction with new business, moving to a new office, and we even managed to pick up a few awards. This month, we swept two American Marketing Association (AMA) Phoenix Spectrum Awards in two separate categories. This award’s ceremony is on it’s 17th year of honoring and celebrating over 200 marketers for their work in the Phoenix-Metro area. A huge congratulations to everyone who was involved in these projects, including our amazing clients—these wouldn’t be possible without you.
Display Ads Were Worth It
The first award was for Best Online Marketing Campaign celebrating the work we produced for a banking client. They wanted to drive account sign-ups and deposits in their region. Tallwave recommended a cross-channel approach that ran across display using Google’s Display & Video 360, paid social via Facebook and the Audience Network, and paid search via Google Ads. At the end of the campaign, we helped them make the most out of their online presence and were able to exceed their deposit goal by 182% with an account open CPA of $34.
Local Search is Important for Multiple Locations
The second award was for Best Search Engine Optimization for the work we did with our client, Mobile Mini. The challenge centered around location data management. Our local search team organized and structured the internal and external data for all Mobile Mini branches. In doing so, we were able to leverage local search as Mobile Mini’s most efficient digital channel. This shift increased Mobile Mini’s local search traffic by 138% year-over-year, and in turn drove lead growth of 131%.
